If you needed to take a break from your HCG diet lasting between 4-14 days, then it’s easy to pick up where you left off. If your break from the HCG diet is going to last just a day or two (for example, you definitely plan to participate in Thanksgiving Day festivities) then make sure you DO NOT take your HCG diet drops on the day you plan to cheat.

If your break from the HCG diet is going to last from 4-14 days, then you may pick up right where you left off. Simply get up in the morning and take your HCG drops as you normally would. Eat according to the Dr. Simeons protocol. It’s important to remember not to take the HCG drops while you’re taking your break. This could be detrimental to your diet or make you gain weight.

If you are taking a break because you plan to cheat for a holiday, consider not beginning the HCG diet until after the holidays or big events are over. It’s ok to take a break from the HCG diet if you must, but if you know ahead of time that you’ll need to cheat, it may be best to wait.
