What Can I Drink on the HCG Diet Plan?
People starting out on the official HCG diet plan naturally want to know what they can and cannot drink. After all, most of us are used to our fill of smoothies, fruit drinks, exotic coffee mixes, beer, wine, sodas--you name it.
The one drink you'll want to become enamored of throughout your diet (and afterward) is water, lots of it--at least one-half gallon to one gallon a day.
Water has many beneficial health effects. It flushes the system, of course, and also helps soften the feces. It keeps the skin healthy, and it certainly helps curb appetite and help digestion.
"So what can I drink besides water?" you're wondering, naturally.
You can drink tea, coffee, and Zevia. They, along with water, can be consumed at any time, and in any quantity. Stay away from sodas or anything that's been sweetened. The sugar or sweetening substance will just add empty calories and disrupt the effect of your HCG diet drops and low-calorie diet.
In his book, diet founder Dr. A.T.W. Simeons also prescribed:
The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, majoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing.
So, remember, along with the HCG drops, consume copious amounts of water a day and stick to your 500-calorie diet. Use our HCG diet recipes for a more satisfying experience.
In three weeks' time, you'll definitely see an enmorous difference in your weight and overall healthful appearance.
